Post Amerage Maximum?

    Does anyone know what the maximum amperage is that can be run through the power posts on top of the dash on a Cascadia?....:"

    Wow we were just talking about this very thing this morning.

    I got this from the supplier for FL, the binding posts are rated at 16 amps. They can take up to 20 amps but may get warm.

    BUT that said, it depends on what the fuse is that protects the circuit.

    Ok.....I'm planning on getting my Ham ticket and most of the dual band radios draw around 15 amps on transmit at full power (75watts)....Thanks..

    You should be safe with that, it is those cb things with a swing that seem to take the toll on them posts.

    20 amps is usually about the limit, though my memory isn't as good as it once was ;)
