Just started a new job , gonna be hauling a step deck driving a midroof Volvo I'm not impressed with the factory sticks and the cable looks cheap as well the mirrors on these modern Volvo have a plastic casing around them , would it be possible to run a bird perch on a Volvo and if so what would be a good choice of Antenna how about a smaller shaft predator 10 k or monkey made

A Volvo 770/780/880 would use one antenna type due to mounting brackets for the rear fairings as opposed to the smaller Volvo 670 which has different fairings requiring antenna to be mounted up front in a conventional manner and at a different height requiring a different length antenna for a perfectionist.

It's not a 780 because the sleeper has no side windows , I guess it's a 670 can I purchase a bird perch for a Volvo , as the mirrors have plastic brackets around the mirror bracket , it has crappy factory Abtennas .

the first trick is figuring out what would be a good mount. yellow freight and roadway have some nice stainless steel mounts but I have no idea where they bought them from .....without 1 of those mounts I wouldn't even know where to begin

I've been searching Volvo bird perch all I've seen is a single bar with a thread Apparently I would remove one of the stews from the mirror and mount the perch there , which doesn't look strong or like it would hold a heavy Antenna

That looks a lot stronger than the screw in perch that I was looking at
