| Made by E.C.I. You had to let it warm up for a couple of minutes before you could talk. I also has a Royce 23 channel in my car. That was before smokie and the bandit, too. I remember all of the radios had at least 5 - 10 watts right out of the box, then because of so much traffic when the CB fad started, they went up to 40 channels and dropped the power to 2 or 3 watts. I remember my dad having a tube type radio in his car for years. Man that thing would talk. At home we had a 50 foot tower with moonraker beams and an antenna specialists ground plane antenna. Swing them beams around, flip the switch on the Firecracker 300 key up the golden eagle lollipop and talk baby. Man those were the days.
