    anybody ever have clay's work on your radio -- my local guy couldn't {i guess it was to involved} do the work i needed done and i'm thinking about sending it to clay's and thought i'd ask around first to see what kind of work they did -- Outlaw

    He used to be real good now if he is still there. I heard his son took over but he was good to from what i understand. He is probably one of the bet out there and the most well known.

    There are a couple other out there...radioactive radio and cb city...both have websites.

    If you're near Reading, PA anytime, there's a cb shop in Reading...2-watt Willie. He did both my Connex's, he knows what to do.

    talks and receives good on a & b -- receives good on c talk is weak - receive weak on d and no talk --- want channel readouts changed to blue -- want volume control on talkback -- i still haven't sent it in but have talked to them about it

    I bought a radio from clays, they did me right, thats where I will send mine if I ever need to.

    Sounds to me like your antenna is tuned for the a & b bands.
    What you describe is not commonly known as a radio problem.

    You will need a antenna that is broad banded enough to cover the
    all the freqs of your radio. Then tune it for the center of the radio
    frequency range.
