Rule #1 about using a G.P.S
You must first be SMARTER then the G.P.S

Rule #2 Sadly a lot of drivers are not.

It can be done to use your sound card as a modem but i am not sure about the audio alone your talking about. In the ham world we use the sound card programs all the time to turn digital signals into analog so we can send data across a radio. and i know there are small devices call TNC Terminal Node Controllers that do the same thing. But this is more for digital coms. What your wanting to do sounds more like a phone patch that we use all the time and they are available any where that ham radio equipment is sold. but they again don't use the computer. just do a search for sound card inteface's and i am sure you will come up with allot of info on it. And the audio quality would be allot better coming thru a sound card also.

YEAH, THAT IS WHAT WE NEED IN THE TRUCKING INDUSTRY. ANOTHER DRIVER RUNNING DOWN THE ROAD, PUNCHIN' BUTTONS ON A LAPTOP WHILE DRIVING, AND PUTTING MORE #### OVER THE CB RADIO. SHESSH!

I agree newbie! LMAO more noise on the cb! I manily use the cb to listen to others and have a good laugh! It can be hilarious at times. I talk on it some--just not a lot but its sometimes entertaining to listen to.

It's something being in ... the term used... a 4 wheeler with a cb going down the highway near El-Paso texas. You hear a lot of stuff from the other side of the border.

Granted there are some good laughs in areas too, but sometimes it is stuff I wouldn't want to play in my house for my future children to hear.
