Whats the stupidest thing you've heard on the CB?

For me is has to be something i hear at least twice a week in various parts of the country...

some idiot whispering on the CB "I aint got no panties on" i have no idea if its suppost to mean anything or if they are just looking to stir things up cause they are bored.

I know that others have heard it also... but do you have anything that is dumber than that?

I think that the kid who runs the "polish, chrome, guy" or whatever he calls himself now is stupid. He's usually working around the T/A at Ontario.

Or that whenever I am on the W/B 60 running through La Puente there is some idiot who gets on Ch19 to disparage truckers calling us idiots because we drive for living ect... I heard he's some pimply face punk in his parents basement on a mobile buzzing off

That's a copycat--somebody that heard that somewhere else. The REAL "panties" guy was in Kansas or Okla (?) and got BUSTED a few years ago.

I HATE to hear somebody "broadcasting" music or singing offkey!Who says I want to hear HIM or George Jones "whangy-twanging " thru his nose for 30 minutes! UGH!

I agree the "panties" thing gets kinda old but i think they do it to get someone to talk--its too quiet for them i guess.

Man I hate for someone to play music or "attempt" to sing--that makes me turn my radio all the way down.

just after xmas there was some nut on the radio while i was westbound on 40 west of nashville, and he was singing xmas songs at the top of his lungs... i pulled in to the closest rest area i could find and took a break and sat there for an extra 10 minutes just to make sure his ### was out of range and i wouldnt have to listen to him anymore. I really wanted to strangle that guy and beat him with a combo tool

Fantasy Persona

When, otherwise normal, people key up the radio and try to sound like something they aren't, like a hillbilly, Jersey boy, or, guy from the Bronx. To me that reeks of stupidity. Just be yourself.

Oh, there's so much that's irritating about trying to listen to the CB. To keep up with traffic and road conditions you must endure CB disc-jockeys, CB politicians, CB karaoke singers, CB evangelist, CB base stations trying to upset truckers, the idiots who will key up a good sounding radio and scream, "747, 747, 747, workin', workin', workin', 747 just got down!", CB echo heads who have so much echo they sound like they're stepping on their own transmission, and of course BBR who will tell anybody who'll listen about his last episode where he had to call the US Marshal.

If any of you run the Northeast I'm sure you've had to listen the group that identifies itself as [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. . Wow, they get on my very last nerve.

Ninety percent of what is said on the radio is stupid so its hard to nail down the most stupid comment. The " Panties Guy" is now appearing at a truck stop near you 9:00 PM till early morning. I think he is everywhere.

I was down there then too, but closer to Chattanooga. Some dood was singing "Chicken hauler's comming...to town" Offtake of "Santa clause is comming...to town".

Normaly I too find this garbage annoying, but the lyrics to "chicken hauler" were actually quite funny.
