CB Squeal

Will it burn up radio if you key-up mic without antenna hooked up?

If it's a continual thing, yes it could hurt it. If it's once or twice, maybe not.

This is what "dummy loads" are for... for when you want to run the radio, but not broadcast... great for testing and tuning...

scour the web, there are tons of DIY dummy load plans available.
