new here with a question about radios

Ok I had no idea where else to ask so why not ask the people that would know best about CB radios. We are going on vacation to Disney World. My husband is actually military and of course, as it always seems to happen, he will not be going on the trip with us now. I will be traveling with my children and usually always take my cb radio with me. I am not too familiar with them. The thing is I have seem to lost my antenna for the radio during our last move. So I need to buy a new one. Any ideas where I can get one for a good price and what I will actually need? When I bought the radio the guy gave me an antenna, but that was about 7 years ago. So if you could help me out with what I would need and not too expensive I would greatly appericate it.

Thanks

I would say any magnet mount would work. You could try Radio shack or maybe Wal Mart. If you have a power supply, put the magnet on the roof, screw it into your radio, turn it on and go.

not gonna lie, i used to use a radio shack magnet mount antenna with a stock radio, an old compact cb, so it was VERY basic, and i got out very well with it. i guess radio shacks radio stuff is actually still good even though they have become electronics boutique

thats what id do.... ( mine probably worked well cuz i have an old 91 t-15 gmc jimmy made out of nothing but metal, so the ground plane was great... is great

I don't much care for Radio Shack stuff, but I will say that I have a magnet mount on my car and it works out great.
