I would not use the built in meter to set your SWR's. They are okay to give you an idea what they are, but not for setting. Get a good meter or if you don't want or need to buy your own, stop by a C.B. Shop and let them set them for you.

Ill let you know if the new ant. works better or not and if I will be able to use the built in SWR tuner or not.

you know everyone says that.... but instead of buying my own, i would set it with the meter on the radio, its not broken down very much but low is still low.

50 watt cobra 29??? dont think so. Put your meter on RMS instead of peak and see what you get. All of that big loud modulation you will get from a radio built like that will cause a meter to show you a bunch of false power. RMS setting does not read all of the harmonics put out by the radio and so it is a better way to see what the radio is really doing.

I know you dont want to hear this but it is the truth......look it up on the net if you want and you will see for yourself!

Do you owners of the Stealth have anything more to report? How it's working?

How do you like the Bluetooth? You are the first person I know of that have one.

I'm glad you like those lights. I can't stand them on my 29 black chrome. It's way too bright in the truck at night and it makes the meter very hard to read. Sometime I'll send it back to Sparky to get a resistor added to lower the brightness and change out those blue lights with something not so distracting.

Well I have a stealth 29 from Sparky along with a peaked and tuned Connex 4300 HP and they are about equal in performance and range.

The only issue I had with the stealth Cobra was the Skythumper Mic he sends with them. I am using an Atastic 636L instead and get awsome reports and range out of it.
