| which band do I use? I have a galaxy 10-meter radio, it has a band selector that ranges from A to H, which letter do I use to talk on straight channel 19?  |

| I'm not knowledgeable about the bands or anything. I say get rid of that radio and go with a midland or cobra. There easy to use and don't have those band thingys!

| this particular radio does not have a frequency counter, it was given to me and I just wanted to see if it would even talk on cb channels, I have a cobra that works fine I just wanted to see if this thing would work. Probably not worth the trouble |

| the guy that i got it from said it was a year or two old, but he thought the band needed to be on either d or e. i guess i'll have to hook it and try it i just didn't want to get off on the wrong foot by being on a regulated frequency |
