I'm going to check Ray out. We have a terminal behind the Pilot in West Memphis and I have a car there, so I'm going to run over to see him next time I'm through there.

I wish I had seen this before I went right past there yesterday!!

    Thanks for the recommendation! !

Ray is good, you won't regret it. The tech I use gets radios, amps and power supplies from other shops to repair. He's just a little more advanced than your average "tweaknician." (He says Ray does good work....as does all the freight haulers that have used him for years.)

    BUZZSAW Thanks this.

Kodiak passed away a while back so I believe that shop is Closed. There is a CB shop upstairs in the Petro at the 161 just outside of Little Rock, Arkansas and he's really good. If you're ever through there, he runs on Channel 13 when he's working. He lives just a very short ways from there so if you stop in and he isn't there, his phone number is on the door. He'll be there in just a few minutes.

I know several that have tried him that are close to there, but have come back to the tech I use, which is farther away and more hassle for them......that says a lot. That is all I know about him so I won't say anything bad.

I've never had a problem with him. Not too long ago I took my Cobra 29 LTD to him because the LED channel indicator was out. He said my board was burned out, replaced it with another used one, and it works great. He didn't charge me a penny either. Told me I'd need to by a new radio before long because this one is 17 years old and new parts will be getting hard to come by.

Has anyone had any work done at 10-4 CB store at X358 on I-75 in FL since they moved across the interstate about a year ago? I heard they have a different tech in than they used to and want to make sure they still do quality work. Or if anyone knows any other good shops/techs along that general area I'd appreciate it!

I'm looking to have my browning 78 installed on my new truck. The browning was getting me 5 miles. The stock dual antenna on this 2016 Prostar is getting only half of that!
