| They just put some antennas with the lights on the truck at the farm. One of the employees had them sitting at home and they figured it was time for a working CB so he brought them in.   |

| The set I have has about 15 or 20 lights on each and they are encased in an amber colored sleeve.CLASSY baby!!! I'll probably do like I used to do with them,mount them as gingerbread only and mount my good ant to actually use.AHH LIKES GINGERBREAD,AHH DO.

| I copy that, hand. So back in the day, chicken truckers used to have more than just a light at the top of the antenna that'd come on when ya key up? They went all the way up the antenna? Am I catchin' that right?

| Lot's of guy's use to take a 8-10" long skinny flourescent light bulb and tape it to the antenna....bling bling. I never seen any "rope type" lighting used for this. |

 J.C. Whitney used to sell them...Their kind of like a Firestick(and have about the same amount of give when in the wind) but they have a semi transparent amber casing and lights that run from top to bottom with a single hot wire hook up for the lights and they ground just like any other ant..They work off of a switch instead of keying up....I used to see a lot of them, but I haven't seen any in many moons now....I lost the set I had for awhile and I checked on Ebay for another set( like I really needed them.If I had,I wouldn't have lost the first set) and never seen any come up for sale.I found mine in a old toolbox again a few months back and was tickled to death.It doesn't take much to make me happy I guess.lol  To be honest,I think they were intended for custom vans back when everybody HAD to have a flashy van back in the late 70s early 80s
