| See my other post about the 29. I had the Uniden PC78LTW, really liked it. Did what I wanted to once matched to a GOOD antenna. It was tuned to 29W and got out attached to a Wilson 1000. Ive only had the Cobra 29 for a few days and I like it so far. Like others have said, they are really the same radio, just a few different features, the 29 has a dial that you can control the Dimmer, the Uniden just has a switch, bright, not so bright. So I like that alot more about the 29. Once I get this one attached to a 1000 and see how it does Ill have a better idea on what I like more. But for now, Im 50/50. But the biggest thing that makes the radio, is the antenna and having it tuned to the radio. Took me a few years to finally understand that.
