| Transmit but No Recieve I've got a Cobra 29 that I can't hear any one on, I can talk to people but I can't hear back. I really only need it occasionally, and i am thinking about getting one of the cb radios that are hand held. Not quite like a walkie talkie. Just sort of an all in one unit. Every thing I need would be in the mic.  |

| You need to eliminate a few possibilities in order to troubleshoot the 29, Use ex.speaker (if you have one) in the PA jack and see if that works (turn your mic gain down pretty close to off so you don't blow yourself out) if it works , that will eliminate the audio chip from being bad .
