| Yet another problem with my cobra 29 MY RADIO RODE AROUND IN A BACKPACK FOR 2 WEEKS AND NOW IT ONLY TRANSMITS SOMETIMES. NO NEEDLE SWING. PLEASE TELL ME ITS JUST THE MIC. BTW THE RX/TX LIGHTS UP WHEN I KEY, JUST NO NEEDLE SWING OR RESPONSES TO CHECK CALL

 your mic It,s the white wire in your mic it,s not contacting either the plug (wich is most likely) or the key switch. try a new mic. |

| i bought me a new 29nw wx st tried the mic from new one on old d it didnt work. sold the old radio at the TS the other night for 20 bucks. guy said his bro in law could fix it.
