All of the time I call it my chatter box

In heavy traffic... When I first started Out I got lost A lot so I used it on a regular basis, But up until I quit driving last week I only turned it on to hear what lane to be in in traffic.
It gets annoying listing to people complain and harass women...Honestly, how many times does a guy have to ask what color panties a female driver has on. -
As a background noise, and when I hit a city and want to check traffic.

%90 of the time that im in my montero my uniden is on .
can you add all the time or most of the time to the choices ? -
I monitored CB for reports about weather and accidents. At shippers and consignees, CB is used for dock assignments and scale instructions. Other than that, CB helps to fight boredom until the Dianne Rehm show comes on.

im always listening when im out by victorville,ca area listening for bear reports

Mine is on all the time unless I am on the phone, then it is tuned down, or I am listening to music.

I keep it on all the time but low volume . It has saved me from being stuck in a lot of backups but you have to use your head . If somebody says there is an accident 100 miles down the road you have to figure it's been at least an hour and a half since they've been there and it'll be an hour and a half until you get there . That's a 3 hour gap and a lot can change . Same with somebody asking how traffic is coming through a city you came through half an hour ago . Any info you give is useless . Best to try to pick up local FM stations for traffic reports or have a good GPS with live updates .
panhandlepat Thanks this. -
