| I think the 25 had a detachable power cord, they are standard in 2 and 3 pin designs, pick the right one to fit, they also can be bought with a lighter plug attached. CB antennas can be purchased the same way, and you would need to buy the proper cable to hook it up. Test the SWR on installation. The side microphone plug radios were thought to be better quality than what is currently available, I don't really know. |

3 pins on this one, I can get one at one of the 3 truck stops here (Love's, TA and Pilot). Believe it or not that seems to be the only places to get cb equipment around here. They all have the same antennaes but the TA has a better quality power cord than the other 2 and is the same price. All 3 places are within 10 miles of my house. |

Somewhere around the house I still have my first CB I ever got, I don,t remember what brand (I think it is a Cobra too) but it is a 23 channel. I may even try to find and hook it up too. A few other folks should remember those 23 channel radios too after all they only had 40 channels out for a couple of years. |

| That old SSB Midland I have talks real well. Dad told me it was tuned up but I never hooked it to a meter. I still have it mostly for a backup in case my 959 fails me. |

| You guys got me going. Went out and finally found my first radio. Pace 2300. Cadillac in its day. Hooked it up and still works as well as new Cobra. Only has 23 channels. I would install it if I still had the bracket. |
