| cobra 19 my brother has a cobra 19 just got it for xmas. hooked it up and he can here myself and other driver on it, but when he talks it come out junk. i hooked my mic off my 29 and it worked fine but its the same mic. any ideas. ps he has replaced the mic with another 19 mic and it did it again.  |

| maybe cobra has a bad run of stock mics ?????? you could always get a after market mic . the DM-452 is a great echo mic for its price (about $20) if you want to add echo to your radio . the echo can be adjusted and turned off . call cobra customer support since its a new radio/mic any way .
