I mean they will hunt your signal down, and locate it. You will never know it happened and nobody will confront you. It will only happen if your signal is dirty, and if you are interfering.

Really, nobody cares what you do on the 40 channels of CB. It is the guys who stray or the ones with the signals that stray.

Use it to listen.............DO you have the manual for it?

Could you google something like that? With the radio being so pricey seems there would be books floating around somewhere for it.

Yes, there should be a free manual available online.

Ya know something . . . .I suppose that's almost as important as having the radio , to have all the manuals for it, I'll have to go back over there and see if she has it tucked away somewhere .
I know my granma , she saves everything , she even keeps the old maxwell house coffee cans , stacks and stacks of them , so I know she has to have it somewhere, just a matter of locating it .
So what am I looking for when I find the manual Mr KC ?
And Congratulations on your upcomming anniversary of becoming a Ham .
I'm more than certain that I couldn't even shake a stick at what you know about electronics , But I have always loved taking apart all my electronics to figure out what " Makes them Tick " so to speak .
I think that is really cool KC:headbang:

I just realized there is a ham club right down the road from me. Do you need to have a radio to join or will they let you listen in on theirs?

You don't have to be ahm, own a radio or anything. Find out when your club meets and show up at a meeting. You will be very welcome and tell them who you are and your interested in learning......................you'll be a very popular person..............we love to pass on our knowledge.

The manual will explain everything you ever wanted to know about that radio. Everything and then some.

Ever consider an online Basic Electronics Course? How about a free one?
