Cobras are of the same quality as Radio Shack .
They have no audio quality, they sound muffled and they sound like you're talking into a tin can , why do you think there are so many mods for them , that's right , you need them .
This radio needs nothing right out of the box , So it's an illegal radio .

I'm getting sick of people claiming that a Cobra 29 is a great radio.
Yea it's a great radio if you want to do all your audio mods to it and then back it up with 500 watts , The guys asked for an Honest answer.

Next week I'll be bringing home my grandfathers Icom 7800, his teloscopic mast and his Mosley beam . . .
