looking for a new cb!!!!

howdy, first post. im looking for a good quality stock cb and antenna, thats reasonably priced. under $100 would be nice ( dont have a lot of money ). do you guys/gals have any suggestions?

Try a cobra 25 or a uniden 68, Those are both reasonably priced and you should be able to get a decent antenna too. Also you may want to see if there are any cb shops in your area, they may have some used radios they'll ley go cheap not to mention they could tweek it too. In most cases you won't need antenna's with a company truck because they generally come stock with the truck.

well a $ 100 wont get you a very good set up, you could always wait til you get out on the road, theres always somone trying to sell just about what ever you need, just be patient, youll be suprized on the deals you will come across.

ok, thanks for the info, do you know anything about the Uniden Bearcat PC68XL Pro Series 40-Channel CB Radio. is it any good for the money?

We had a uniden pc68 xl when my wife drove. It was a great radio, we hooked it up to a K40 antenna when we had it in the car. It got out really well. And hey don't ignore that Cobra 25 either. I have one of them and it gets out very well too.
