trunk mount for the antenna, unless your going to put a plate on the inside of your trunk lid to hold said antenna.

The Wilson 1000 roof mount should work on a trunk lid correct?

What is the reason you do not want to use a magnet mount?
Do you really want to drill a hole through your trunk lid?
Just curious.

I just hate the look of that big magnet base, and I simply don't trust it. All someone has to do is walk by, and grab the antenna, and simply take it.

This is a car I am going to keep for a very long time, and even if I want to take the antenna out, a hole in a trunk lid is easy to fix, much easier then one that is in the roof, or I can always pick up a new trunk lid from a wrecker and have it painted, lot's of options.

Just going for a very clean install, and I think one of those right in the middle of the trunk lid is the cleanest look you can get for a CB antenna.
