New Cobra 29NW

So after 4+ years of service, my Uniden PC78LTW finally took a ####. So I was looking for a new radio. I really wanted to get a Magnum S9 or Galaxy DX94HP, but I just couldnt bring myself to spending that much money right now (Im looking at buying a house), so I picked up a Cobra 29 NW, I opted w/o with WX band cause I have 2 scanners and my HAM radio, and can get it on all 3.
I must say, so far I really like the radio. The only thing I dont like is how they have the instant 9/19 switch, it should be 19 on the first click, then 9, seems like it makes more sence to me that way, but oh well.

I also orderd 2- Wilson 1000 mag mounts, one for the truck and one as a backup as Wilson is going out of business from what Ive been told by a few shops. So buy them while you still can!

Well, the Wilson's came Friday. I put the one in today. Out of the box, NO TUNING, 1.2/1.4 SWR's. I just followed the directions on the paper. I am just amazed!!!!! Its great to have a "good" antenna up there again. I did a radio check and it gets out, FAR.

That's the CB I have. I like the illuminated front. Other than that I don't know much about it... it works.
