I have several"white" and "black" face Johnson's in perfect working order.Well over 20 different Halicrafters dating 61-68 also refurbed to perfect working order.

My pride and joys are dead-mint set of Hammerlund HQ129 and SP-600 which date back to 1946/47.They are still boxed.
    Polytronics PC 23 Sr,others include Citifone,Citizens,Browning (Eagle/Eagelette,M-523 etc)
    Lafayette,Olson,Tram.

Currently working a deal for a mint boxed Cobra Cam 88
that was a gift that was never given.Great story behind it as well as being vintage Cobra, sweet find I'll be glad to own.

So anyway ........ several radios from days gone by.

    That is true !
But when you completely rebuild sections in a radio its a different deal all together, when you are an INNOVATOR of new PERFECTED mods your Craftsmanship and R/D cant be had without a price.
Go to RAR's site and tell me their Mod list is filled with
mods stolen from other Competitors, show me a shop that is driven to "ADVANCE" radio performance and perfect radio modifications. Custom radio,Sparky,GIJoe
    what have they done ?

AGAIN Sir, WHAT HAVE THEY "DONE" ?

People that choose to slam RAR are never found talking smack on the RAR sub-forum of a well known CB forum.
Instead they slime around places like this attempting to promote the vendor of their purchase and or "the most common" techs from other shops with nothing to do set up on the net and slam competitors.

You dont see or hear of RAR Owner/Techs slamming other shops, they are busy building "purpose built"radios.

There is how ever plenty of documentation of other shops(by IP location and loose lips) constantly slamming RAR.

Failing to understand the difference between a shop with bench techs and shops with "CERTIFIED TECHS" leaves much that is NEVER adding to the conversation.

GIJoes,Custom Radio,Sparky's and whom ever else you want to throw in the bucket fail to show "PROOF" like RAR can. ALL OF THEIR TECHS ARE CERTIFIED or they dont wrench on radios !!

I'll pay for performance over advertising any day !!

like you do here about the others?double standard there?

i repeat a good cb shop backs up what they sell and do not sell you something just to sell you something else.

People don't slam them on CB radio talk? Yes they do but #### and the other Mods delete it asap. I am also a member there.

You can argue all you want but people are taking their super hack packed RAR radios into shops and getting them unhacked. Same goes for GI joes. Take a look in Gijoes site and the first thing you will notice is that they clip and remove the mod limiter. True radio techs do not hack up a radio by clipping parts inside them.

As far as the new and inovative mods, and NPC mod is not new and inovative. This is what the Super Wack Pack is and can be done by anyone with a couple dollars worth of stuff from radio shack and a soldering gun and wire clippers.

If anyone wants the truth about the superwackpack then do a google search on superwackpack.weebly I had posted the link but it was removed due to possible advertising.

superwackpack.weebly is severally biased, dated and missing major amounts of mechanical data.:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:
Gotta love the staged pics, but their understandably required to support the rhetoric.

RA never countered and just considered the source.

    Ok if you say so:smt101.

Good thing that the site tells you what was done to unhack the connex 3300 that has hacked up with the so called SuperWackPack.

I just love it when Techs tear apart things like SWP and bring out the truth about them. It even makes it better when people tell how their equipment works so much better once it is unhacked by real knowledgable techs.

We can go back and forth for weeks if you like or we can just both agree to disagree I quess.

    No,wont be any agreeing.
Your quoting regurged quotes from a known competitor.

I look inside a SWP GL and fail to see anything that is similar to what is depicted in those weebly pics.

You dont have a dog in this fight yet still choose to proxy
on a topic you have no hands on experience with.
Do you even understand ?? clearly not !

But I'll give you the "win" to make you,YOU!

Off the key with this cracker-smacker :biggrin_25510:
