Connex 4300-400 WSM

Asked Al # Sparky's the exact question,he said it would cut into audio performance

Al # Sparky's did the 4300-300 I have here, nice radio..Classic look like the 3300HP and the 4600 Turbo..with a little more output, set up to run a straight eight comp amp..

 

Thats a great set-up,should blow plenty of smoke

 

I've got a 3300 hp with a browning antenna and was talking and receiving over 13 miles away in PA yesterday. It's only pushing 50 watts on the high setting.

 

Have run a 4300-300 for two years and have no problems, Has two fans to keep it cool. It runs a cool 400 hundred watts.

 

43/300 pushing 400 watts ?


I have one HO fan on mine and its plenty cool when the wind is long,but nothing close to 400 watts
My 43/400 will do just a tad over 400 PEP,strange . . . . . huh?

 

Why do you need a high power radio?
