Oh man!!!! You've had to put up with the New Jersey Dimwit, er, Devil. That bonehead ties up the CB to the point the thing is useless. When I hear him on there, I just turn it off. No use in getting any useful info when he's there. And my radio is always on at other times.

I concur. The same people spewing out garbage at a truck stop are the same ones who don't say a peep inside the truck stop. They don't want anyone to know it was them.

It's really not any different than when you go into an internet chat room and have people cussing at you, calling you names, etc. Or when someone cuts you off and you cuss at them from behind your steering wheel.

Or more like they were bullied themselves and now this is their way of unleashing the anger/frustration.

All I can say is "Welcome to CB Radio 101!"

This isn't the 1970's anymore...Back then, you rarely herd anyone talking half as bad as what go's on now...Biggest problem back then was "Bucket-Mouths", and the occasional "CB Disc-Jocky"...

Now days, it's like "Open-Season" on anyone that try's to tell someone to clean-up their language...

Now days, if you tell someone to clean up their act, you take a chance on getting shot at!.....Just go's with the times.....

Your right, but why say anything to them at all. I can remember a time if a person got on the radio that didnt know how to talk, they couldnt raise anybody. I figure if one of those idiots got to mouthing off and nobody said a word to them, they would shut up, but when they get what they want (a reaction from someone) they just keep going and going.

It took buying a CB for you to realize that a woman needs a thick skin to make it in a male dominated industry? Guess what, same thing goes for engineering, plumbing, HVAC, stone mason, etc.

Noone said a thing mean, they were encouraging. Actually the cb is pretty quiet a lot of the time.
Do they know you are team driving with your hubby? Cause I think that probably keeps some of the bad apples away from you as well. Then again maybe they have heard how well you wield that pointy stick.

Or how about "Wheelchair Willie" in Chicago. He always has things stirred up there.
