I never have been a fan of the 959's, I would suggest getting rid of it and getting something better. Find you a good CB shop that you can get by from time to time and check what they have for used radio's that have already been tuned, peaked and stuff.

Whats the wrong with a galaxy 959,I have never used anything but a cobra 29 there a great radio but just thought I would get something a little better.I had a connex 3300 but really didn't like it that much,so I figured I would give galaxy a try I picked this one up on ebay for 85.00 so I really can't complain about the price.So as I say again whats the wrong with the galaxy 959 am/ssb radio that I got.

I got a 959 had it tuned up. Talkback ,peaked and tuned, swingkit,conex bord echo
and im talking .Big i love it .It is doing 6- w
With a little work it is agreat radio.

Al # Sparky's has these new factory refurbs 959's complete with Galaxy's 2 year warranty for less than $120 right now..
Comes with radio alignment and tune..
