What is the source of these Indianapolis smackdowns?

I have looked over the ARRL site and there is nothing mentioned there. The link provided for enforcement actions goes to the FCC enforcement site which has nothing listed. If its not listed on that site, then there was no smackdown by the FCC.
Well I know one of the guys that runs one of the 2 cb shops right there off 465 and he personally told me that he received a HEFTY fine from them and that there were several drivers and others that frequently hang out in the area that had also been handed some hefty fines. No reason for him to lie to me, what would he gain by telling me he had been fined by the FCC?

There IS a section on "Amateur Enforcement"; you just have to hunt for it with a bit of patience. From the ARRL page, there is a YELLOW border at the top. There is a section (link) that says, "FCC Enforcement". Click on that. It LEADS to the enforcement actions I referred to. And there are quite a few. At LEAST 10 actions initiated by Ms Smith. She is starting out to be even MORE aggressive towards CB than her predecessor. (SIC 'EM!!!!)

I was talking about the supposed enforcements in Indianapolis. There is no mentions on the FCC site about any enforcements or fines on the page. If the FCC makes a bust like that then they WILL put it on thier website to gloat about it. Aint nothing there so I doubt there was any enforcement actions as others were speaking of in recent days...

I know the ARRL site quite well. I know their "enforcement" page gives the link to the FCC site. I go there quite often. I am a ham as you might remember if you look back thru to a few years ago on this very site.

Truer word have never been spoken.

But it is frustrating when you hit a thread, and you see 20 post on the first page....but can only read 3 of them. Cuz the ignored party, is on a 17 post rant.

You kinda wonder what you missed LOL

Got a call in this morning from the "Big Shop" up there and he was very surprised to hear of such a thing.
If the FCC was in fact busting chops in that area he would have been the first to get tagged.

He said his shop has several brand new/used 10 meters from several brand names but no visits from the wicked fcc #####.

So ......
