connex 3300 blowing fuse

Hello all, I have a connex 3300 hp radio. I powered the radio up and it seems to work find until I key up the mic, then it blows fuses. Any suggestions.

I'm running a 3 amp blade fuse. The radio does fine, until you try to key up the mic, then fuse blows.

I'm willing to bet some screwdriver expert has been trying to do modifications they found on the internet and it's blowing the fuses due to poor workmanship, I see this a lot here.

It was working find before I took it out of my other truck. No one has fooled with it since.

I tried it in my buddy's truck, worked fine with 3 diffrent mic's, but he did have his straight wired, without fuse. He tried to talke me into doing the same thing, said no way, that fuse is there for a reason.

i have an 3300 hp, you need to use a 10 amp fuse
