Ham Radio 14.275

Anybody ever listen to the goings on at 14.275. I have an Icom 706 and a tarheel antenna. Everyday around 7 cst I hear a Canadian bad-mouthing America and the other day I heard him saying America deserved more roadside bombs. I did a search on VE7KFM and found this page:

if all of this is true, then why doesn't the FCC go in and get him. I thought there was some kind of language law or something like that when it was broadcasted.
He should have his lic. pulled and never given any privleges back.

The guy is in Canada - the FCC is a US government agency. No pull in Canada. There is an agency like the FCC there but they aren't paying attention I guess. Supposedly there have been tons of complaints and especially after he threatened the US Ambassador - but strangely enough he's still on the air!

Did you listen to what Karol Madera (that's his name) actually says on the air!?! And lots of hams complain that CBers are bad. This guy is the worst I've ever heard!

Didn't 14.275 used to be the frequency for K1MAN? Glenn Baxter and his maniacal illegal broadcasts. The FCC is going after Glenn for something like $21,000 for "broadcasting" which is illegal. Hopefully the Canadian version of thr FCC get this Madera guy off sometime too.

While I am on medical leave, mayber I'll throw up a wire in a tree and see about getting on the air and give a listen. I should be able to get 20M Canada in Oklahoma

Yeah that's the same guy! This VE7KFM dude says he is Baxter's cohost. Last night I heard him wishing Americans roadside bombs again and he said he hopes America gets a giant firecracker up its ********* on the 4th. I also found a blog that talks about the guy here ---

I wouldn't let this guy get under your skin, let him say what he wants. Anybody that wishes harm on another because of thier opinion does not deserve a second thought. Just look at our history, were doing allright down here.

You're right Cookie - this guys just not worth it. I got upset because he was wishing America more roadside bombs and my wife has a friend who lost a son to IEDs in February. He was blown up by a roadside bomb in Iraq, and here we have a guy who was in the Canadian military who should know better. I went to the funeral and it was a closed casket. They had to identify this beautiful 19 year old kid - a medic who wanted to be a Dr. - by his dental records. What kind of sicko wishes American's more roadside bombs? I'll bet if the military families who lost loved ones in the Iraq war heard this guy they'd go up there and string him up by his toes. But you're right, it's too sad, too mean spirited and ugly to think about and I need to let it go. Thanks.
