    What's up with Gi joes?

    Just wondering what the deal is with them? Bought some radios from them never had anything to complain about. Should I be worried?

    Raccoon in Tampa T/A?

    Does anyone know if he is the same Raccoon that migrated from CT a few years back? He used to be at Secondi at exit 40 on 95. He did some work for me and was really good need to contact him if it is. Any help would be grateful Thanks

    I have several friends who have purchased gear from G I Joe's w/ no problems . I haven't bought anything from them myself .
    BOB's In Strattanville , PA has treated me very well . Common sense , truthful advice and very good service in shop and mail order.
    Sparky's has done right by me and so has Doug # Custom CB .

    Okay was just wondering...I never had anything raise a flag concerning their work. I guess it's personal preference. I've bought from others as well but Joe's has better prices than most.

    OH yeah ....G I Joe's prices are very hard to beat . Do you usually get your radio purchases tuned there ? I have several friends who have told me that they are very happy with the tune-ups they received there .

    Have two from them Connex 4300 HP/Galaxy 73V couldn't be happier with them. Seem to know what they're doing so never question the work. Like the Connex but the Galaxy is awesome not a big powerful radio as the Connex is but going to add a linear in my pickup so will drive the amp as I need it to. Besides the 73V is not made anymore and used to have one years ago,they had it on sale so I had to have it it's a refurb but don't care about that brand new to me. Will buy from them again...no worries.

    Personally , I have no issue with you . I have seen & heard your work and I know that you are an honorable businessman.

    Now, Jack # Fire Comm. is one of the most knowledgeable techs that I have ever spoken with. But, his dealings with me were dishonest & he NEVER delivered items that were paid for in advance . I checked on the internet ( wish I would have checked BEFORE I paid for items that were NEVER shipped !)and I found that he has had MANY problems with other folks trying to buy products . I cannot advocate or support his business , we work too hard out here making our pay to prop up dishonest & disreputable CB techs.
    And I would have NO credibility if I didn't inform other drivers that I share the road with , that Jack is not worthy of their trust .

    DTB RADIO SHOP in Carlisle PA tells anyone and everyone that their Radio needs repaired. He has to advertise on the CB every 5 minutes to get any poor fool he can to bring in their radio for one of his "Super Tune UP's" and then set the radio back to stock and trashes every other radio shop in the country. He does not have any professionl ethics or morals at all. I wil never take another radio to him. DTB is a rip off. I will take mine to the Flying J from now on.

    Lately, I've been hearing similar reports from other people. I looked through ripoffreport.com and found several complaints filed there, as well. I'm not sure what's going on, and I'm not about to be his judge and jury, but I agree, one can't ignore that many negative reports. I've not personally had any problems with getting what I paid for from Jack, although I only purchased one item from him, and that was a long time ago when he was still in AZ.
