| Let's see how many real old dudes are out there. Who can tell me what a double breasted yamaha was? Two sided 238? Turned around ten speed? $5 dollar speeding tickets in Tennessee. What years. What 2 states were the last to raise their weight limits from 73280 to 80,000 lbs? Who was White Oak Acres after they were bought out? Who was Double Diamond, the trucking company? Who was Little "R" trucking company? Who was "Tree Limb", the trucking company? Where was the "Chicken Shack" located? On the east coast. What was the "Monfort Lane" named for? Where was the "Ho Chi Ming Trail" ? As pertains to trucking. No research, just answer the questions.

![]() I have heard an ad on the "Midnight Radio Network" that has this line in the ad: "dropping double nickels down the Hammer-Lane through *** alley" and I was wanting to know what it means. (I also want to know what the one word that I have trouble hearing is, which is represented by the [***] in the above quoted phrase) ![]() ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ I will NOT defer...I have come before you to resolve this attack on our Sovereignty now! --Queen Amidala-- Hope is home, and the heart is free. --Enya-- Do you hear the people sing? Say, do you hear the distant drums! It is the future that they bring when tomorrow comes...Tomorrow comes!! --Les Miserables-- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~ Sincerely, Brian Weston Blamires. |

| Double Breasted Yamaha, If I remember right it was the old Detroit Diesel that had 2 blowers on it, guaranteed to need a gallon of oil for every 100 gals of diesel. Double Diamond - McLean Trucking The Monfort Lane, the left lane, named after Monfort Trucking because they never slowed down enough to get in the right lane. Remember the old "Circus Wagons" they drove. The Ho Chi Mihn Trail, Rt 209 in Pa, from the Water Gap to Port Jarvis Ny. A good shortcut from I80 to I84 untill they closed it to trucks in the early 80's. |
