The so-called "10 Meter" radios are not permitted for CB. The way to tell if a radio is "illegal" for CB is the presence of "band" switches (A,B,C,D,E.. etc) Its been discussed (and cussed!) here plenty.
Often people are simply TOO tempted to try to use those other "bands" that are not permitted for CB radio, and it causes problems for them.
A regular CB is MUCH cheaper and will do the job.

That is what bothers most hams is it's too tempting to go on the funny freeks ....

For half that coin a "Stealth Tuned 29" is about as loud as they get, that 48T ain't a bad rig at all. Just kinda expensive route for a loud radio.

The stryker 44o peaked and tuned with an super mod kit is one of the best sounding radios out there .... I have had many compliments on mine.....
But dont let any one fool ya it is not as powerful as some make it out to be.....
you can be as proud of an cobra 29 with an mod kit in it......
I prefer the old school radios been around for 20 years and will go for another 20 ..... Just find some one with the old school 1969 finals .... which are harder and harder to find.....
I believe someone must be stock piling them !!!!!
Now after saying that .... Let the arguments begin ! -
I'm not a fan of those fets .... -

You bet ya ......
