Uniden 510xl receive

    I have a nice sized open spot in my dash. The uniden 510 fit snuggly with a no hole mount. The only problem I have is it puts out great according to a dosy meter it dead keys 4 watts and swings to 15 but the receive is terrible. Anything I can do? No good if I can get out good but cant hear much. Are all the smaller radios like that? My antenna is a Wilson 1000 mag mount. I've checked the cablefor continuity and all is good my swrs are good too. Any advice is appreciated.
