Not sure if this had been asked but...
How is the lease program working out?
I've been looking into it myself.
Are there outlets in the truck from the apu?
Did they let you pick the truck?
Is your take home pay decent?

Eight months of log books to prove it? Your original post said you gave them two months.
It sounds like you're some barely trained student not willing to put in the time and effort.
You don't make huge checks overnight. You build up a reputation with your DM and work for that money.
And according to your profile, you quit well before you made it through your first year. So what give you the right to be spitting nasty advice out to people? Go home and be quiet. Leave the driving to the professionals.

No outlets in the truck other than the 12volt ones as there is no real apu- just an extra set of batteries to run the heat or ac

Yes, you can pick your truck. Chris or Josh will print out an up-to-the-minute correct list of trucks available and then you can take as much time as you need to go out to the lot and look them over. They all have the keys in them, just in case it's not one of our "1 Key fits all" trucks. And you can take them for a spin around the lot, just not out the gate. They have trucks ranging in age from 1 year old to, well, ancient (red one's from Robinson). I was killing time and found one with 126k on it, and another with 848k. You just have to, at the very least, do a thorough Pre-Trip on the truck when you look at it. And some of the Robinson trucks have actual Tri-pac APU's on them. They disappear fast. They are pulling the Volvo's out of the fleet just as fast as they can. Int'l and Freightliners were most of what I saw.

As far as real APUs, a mechanic at Indy told me they take them off and sell them. I believe it as I've seen lots of trucks in the yard that have had them removed. The majority of our lease purchase trucks are Int'l; Freightliners are quite rare now

It's hard to tell when your recruiter is being honest or not.
I was told about the phase out of the freightliner. But i was also told that ALL
    lease trucks had APU's.

The APU is very very important for me to have...

I apparently had the new guy working the International assembly line because my brand new truck has the driver's seat (with all the nice seat adjustments) on the passenger side, and the passenger seat on the driver's side. I'd mention it but that would mean a trip to the dealership and probably a couple days down time.

So before you peel out in that brand new International, check that the driver's seat is actually on the driver's side! lol

I started on a Lease-Pirchase contract a week ago. I chose a 2011 Freightliner Cascadia with 147k on it, and the truck has been nothing but trouble. They change truck #'s when they get turned back in, so I will post and pass along the VIN# of this one when I get back to it. It's at Stoops right now because the truck dies without warning while going down the road, no warnings. Just dies. everything electrical goes dead. After a second or two, everything comes back on like nothing happened. No computer codes to trace. in 2 weeks, I've only been able to make 1 trip from Indy to Arkansas and a load back to Indy. I'm getting the impression that all the used trucks in the program have serious problems and should be left alone. They do lease NEW trucks, but there is a looooong waiting list. Oh, and they messed up my recent payroll so bad they owe me almost $800! Bottom line, bust their balls before they bust your bank account!
