I have been with celadon for 18 months. the bonuses are still here and are not going anywhere. i live 2 hrs north of the terminal in indy. i average 2800 - 3000 miles a week and go home every two weeks. i have received 6 vaction weeks during this time and have had 4 dm's. Scott my current dm is great. he keeps me movin. it is nice to have a dm that knows you by name and not by id number. i have heard a lot of stories both good and bad. no company is perfect and what might be good for me may not be good for you.
i like it at celadon

And your point is? Sounds like a 1 posting recuiting ad to me.
-
think what you want i was just letting people know what i think of them. they can choice for themselves and if they don'tswitch then more miles for me
-
I have talked to a recuiter over ther and when I said I changed my mind to come to work there she filpped out! Glad I didn't go over there if a recuiter treat a driver like that what do you think the DM will do? Good Luck Drivers

my DMs at the BFI co's always knew my name (not always at first) because I did what I still do now when calling a broker or customer..

lots of blind luck and personality at play with the big boys -
Has anybody else out there have anything, positive or negative, to say about Celadon? I'd like to hear it now, especially since I'm looking at an offer to work/drive for them.
-
I am considering them as well. Some things that are important to me is the miles, comfort in hot weather (idle time), loading/unload responsibility.
-
They don't like you to idle. Miles just depends on how you like to run. There are a few drivers on here ask them
-
I would like to hear from some Celadon drivers as well as others who have posted questions. If you don't drive for them (recently) or haven't within the last few months than how do you know (first hand) what their idle policy is?
