What is the pay? PC Miler miles or HHG? What is the nearest terminal to St Paul?

Pay is HHG less about 3 to 10 percent, depending on how their routing software sends you. I'm on my way back to St Paul (coincidence?) from Kent, WA. If that's where you're at, want to meet at the TA and compare notes? The nearest terminal to St. Paul would be Indianapolis unless they bought one and didn;t tell me (and why would they? ) I'm kinda bummed maximum seriously tonight. Celadon's NO PET POLICY just ended up with my dog having to be destroyed at home. Seperation anxiety (I guess) made him go after a 4 y/o girl (son's g/f's daughter) without provocation, they said. So if I snap at you.....just shoot me.
PS - Sitting here in Mandan, ND tonight dealing with all the local idiots setting off firecrackers and shooting out back. No respect for vets who have to deal with PTSD on a daily basis. I'm fighting the strong urge to return fire.

be sure that the driver shows you his payroll summary from the celadon website. so you can see the slide on the pay scale. then you will see the truth. and be sure you ask him about the driver referal bonus. i believe it's either $500 or a $1000 per person hired. and remember what i posted. it is a cradle to grave policy on the trucks. so if you get a bad truck that breaks down every week. and celadon firmly believes that cradle to grave policy. if you have a job with a local company. and they are treting you fair. and you are making good pay every week. stay there! because your not going to make any more running over the road. if you do decide to go over the road. i would make sure you can go back to your current employer later on. and you need to make sure i have another job if celadon doesn't work out. because they will screw you over!

That's good advice. I'm starting to wonder about being here now. This trip from Kent, WA to St. Paul, MN is all I got for the last 7 days. Right on the button with 1600 to 2200 miles per week average. And the Company ID/Comdata Card isn;t working like they said it would. I had it set up with my pay going to it (not direct deposit), and they said I could use it as a debit card at ATM's, and as a Point-of-sale debit card. Neither of those options works. To get my money, I have to write Comcheks and pay fees when I don;t fuel wherever I'm at. Either way, they make me burn $3 of my money when I want some of it. And my regular DM is taking alot of time off lately. I've learned that that usually means they're planning on leaving for greener pastures, or there's problems elsewhere. I'm watching and waiting.

t/a,petro,wilco,gas city,Bp,walmart, and some other places you can use it as a debit card. get something cheap and simple, and you have tell the cashier to run it as debit. where you can't use it,love's,pilot, flying j,citgo,marathon,petro#2. I learned to look at the carder reader machine. if it says vrifone on it. then it should go. a lot of cashiers get confused by the card. and others try to run it as a coperate/credit card. it won't work likr that on personal/general purchases. my advice. get a checking account and have you check direct deposited into it. payroll will tel you that. what i did is: 20/80 percent with pay. 20% on fuel card/ and 80% in the bank. and once i got organized. i left the bank card and check book at home. and lived on the 20% that was going on the fuel card. and the 2 times i was home in the 8 months i worked there. I had some money to be home on. I lost in the 8months i worked there in down time in the shop. average was 3 days at a time. i estimated i lost 48 days in 8 months. and that's not counting the 2 four day periods i was home. and i was there company driver. I've set in the cafeteria in indy. with no food and no money to eat. and celadon could of cared less. my checks were about $350 gross a week. after taxes $279. after the advace to cover tolls. and after the 20% came out. I had maybe $211 dollars a week to pay home bills on. when i tried to trade the truck in to get one that was in better shape. all i got was lies and an attitute for the truck assignments lady. and when i quit. they asked why. i just looked at them. the truck brakes down every week. i can't make anything. so i'm going home. and they said just this, we had some that do that! I hope evry one under stands. this is how celadon is. so if you one of the ones that have a truck that you can depend on. and that doesan't brake down every week. then you will most likely make up around the $600 to 700 mark gross. which really isn't bad in this economy. but,if you don't have a good celadon truck. then you better like a $200 dollar check a week. because there not going to give you a better check. and this is the simple truth about them. I'm not going to sit here and waste my time lieing to any one. good luck to one and all the celadon experience turned me off from wanting to ever drive another truck again.

I'm still sitting here in the St. Paul area. I delivered the load on-time, and even sat there until they decided they didn't have a load for me to pick-up. That was Tuesday afternoon. It's Wednesday night. I came down to Stockmen's in South St. Paul, just because the food was better here than out at the TA in Rogers. They did come up with 1 load earlier today, Menonomee, WI to Laredo, TX (and on into MEX), but the shipper changed the dates and moved it too far back. So, I sits. Might actually get to see if they really do pay lay-over! My g/f is calling me 4 times a day already, wanting to know when I'm going to get there! should I give her my DM's number?
