When I was deciding which school to go to I did a LOT of reading here. When I started the school I also started a thread so that there would be more up-to-date information available. I am still updating it since I am not done with the training process. I am no longer posting regularly, though, because there just isn't much new to add at the moment.

    My thread is here http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...quality-drivers-celadon-experience-april.html

    AquariusDoll Thanks this.

Many state unemployment offices can get you into a local CDL school paid for by your state going through a junior college cdl program that will be free to you with no obligation to pay the cost back. Then you can go to Celadon as a refresher instead of having to complete the whole school. This is one way for you to not have to stay in Indianapolis for several months before finally seeing your home again. Yes they are making the students who graduate from their school do teams and yes it's .18 cpm. One way to bypass this and not do teams is after you do you OTR with a trainer for however many miles they will require in each individual case is to go lease op. You will make more money, have better home time, get good miles and not be force dispatched. I'm available for more info at gitaslife@gmail.com
