don't worry about what most of these people have posted. if you are clean now and have been just be honest with who you talk to. then can help if you meet what they are looking for. back gound ck will tell them a lot. as long as that is pretty clean pretty sure they will work with you. just means you might have to work a little harder than some to prove to them you are worth the risk. like i said being honest befor they find something is the right way. good luck

 

Why not go to a company that doesn't do a hair follicle drug test?

 

Last I knew, it was the standard urine test..... accurate knowledge from 2 years ago. Pre-employment, random every 3-6 months, and a given if there was an incident of any kind.

 

Basically the DOT only cares that you are clean and sober at the time of any testing.

Some companies have a higher standard that's all, call them up and without saying your name ask them about their testing standards.

Due HIPA laws no company can share drug test results with one another unless you allow consent in writing. Which some companies ask for in orientation, it is useless because by law they have to do a pre-hire test anyways. They are just trying to find dirt on you.

Any failed test the carrier must notify DOT and DMV in the driver home state and that information will then be placed on the drivers record. Because it is on the driving record it is public record which means it can also be reported on the DAC. This is only when you fail the DOT standards not a company standard.

 

you should go to a clinic and pay to have the test done before going to a compny.Because if you fail thats going to go straight to your dac and some companies will not hire ever on a failed drug test.The last time you did drugs was 8 months ago so i wont give you any crap about it.You cleaned up and thats the main thing.Think youll be alright if you go in a cup but dont know anything about the hair test.Like i said pay to have both tests done first.

 

What ever you do DON'T TELL THEM YOU'VE BEEN A DRUG USER !! If its been long enough that it don't show up and you don't have any legal issues for drugs don't open a can of worms. Oh and by the way for hair tests if you don't have any hair on your head to test they will just take it from other body hair and if ya don't have that they will just send you home.

 

If what you had contains THC, that is a fat soluable molecule so if done with high quality and quantity can be in urine up to 6 months ... Hair goes back to when the hair was grown. How fast does your hair grow? Not sure how much you would have to have in your system for it to show up though.
