Does anyone have ANY first hand info on this divison? I know its all l/p or o/o & its percentage. They got any good freight/accounts? Are the l/p drivers making any money?
    Any info would be appreciated.

think about it. dirty tarps, rusty heavy chains, having to do dirty work hard work in all weather conditions, a lot of work for very low pay. most loads take 2 plus hours to tie down and tarp after loading a flat bed. and that's if you don't have to put up a side kit.

Celadon is excited to offer a new fleet available to company drivers as well as owner operators. With the addition of our new flatbed fleet, we are able to provide more opportunities to more company drivers and owner operators.

    $.40/Mile — Company Drivers

Owner Operators -75% for Company Loads with full fuel and accessorial pass through, 85% for Brokered Loads.

Bonus Pay Opportunities — Company Drivers

    $.03/Mile — HAZMAT Loads
    $.005/Mile — Safety Bonus
$.01/Mile Increase — Every 120,000 Miles Ran - NO CAP
    $15 — Tie Down
    $15 — Steel Load Tarping
    $25 — Lumper Load Tarping

They bought BUTLER out of Evans Indiana to get back into the Flatbed side of things , just bought 100 new 53' Alum flatbed trailers and adding KW W900, PETE 579 and INTERNATIONAL LONESTARS to the flatbed fleet. My youngest brother in law is attempting to get on with them

Yeah thats the info I have but recruiting tells me its lease purchase only. I know the website lists company driver but I am told its wrong. I had one guy on facebook tell me he left evans before the celadon bought them but he has friends there still. Said they get less then 2000 miles a week & barely make $1.50/mile.
The lead dispatcher told me miles are low becayse drivers wont run national & want home every weekend. Said I could do 2500-3500/week, if I stated out 2 weeks at a time. He said they have avg $2.32/mile for all miles the last year.
I am just trying to get to the truth. If $2.32/mile to the driver is accurate & can get 25-3500 a week id be very interested. Payment on a 2015 lonestar is $610/week.

UPDATED: I called to confirm and its $2.32/mile to the truck. Yeah not enough money for the hassle of a lp in my opinion.

He can own it in 7 years. After paying off the $30,000 you still owe at the end. Thats if you dont starve to death first making $1.74/mile plus fsc. I dont see how its a good deal. After all expenses & taxes youd make 1000-1200/week if you ran 3000 miles at their advertized average

He could not and never has PAID OFF ANYTHING , he is 1 of the I go where I want , I pick my own loads , I work when I feel like it type , sit for days waiting on the dream load truck owner WANABEE , has failed on deals most could only dream about . Yet he is going to sue or tie up everyone that's wronged him in court for years as soon as he finds a Lawyer to work for FREE

I will not even let him sit in 1 of my trucks
