Hello, I saw on a thread someone vaguely mentioning that Celadon has a non-compete clause until the cost of their CDL school is paid for.
Can anyone confirm this for me?
Thanks!
does Celadon;s CDL School have a non compete clause in their contract?

Non compete clauses are unenforceable unless you cause monetary damages to the company, so it's a non-issue.

Please inform of exactly what a non compete Claus is or were you saying a non complete clause

A wikipedia definition is not what you signed, so attaching it to your post is meaningless. Like I said, unless you cause some type of damage to the company, such as taking away their freight customers or something similar, they cannot/will not sue you. You can do whatever you want to do. You don't have the ability or the intent to harm the company and they'll have no cause to come after you. Non-compete clauses are all hot air unless you cause real damage that can be proven in a court of law in dollars and cents...

If it's like Swift, if you quit before you pay for the school, they will bill you for the school. If you stay the duration of the school contract, which was two years for Swift, then you owe them nothing.
