No problem jro0669; its always good to do your research & make the choice that's best for you. Celadon has a flatbed division now it's fairly new I think. After I get some dry can experience..I may go that route also. TMC ..Melton .. Boyd Bros seem to be the big companies w/ threads on here from guys who worked for them.. good luck to u man.

Thanks. I do have pre-hire letter for Boyd Brothers. I just keep second guessing the right thing to do. You never know, who is being honest. And also, I have to go off of opinions. I have until march 20th to make a decsion. Keep the updates coming, you never know how much this may help a lot of drivers in the future.

678 miles last night/this morning .. I'm pooped.. pulled in to the Flying J down in Waco, TX with 5 mins left on my 11hr clock.. I did a str8 back to park didn't feel like getting technical to park Lol .. & jro0669 your gut instinct is usually the right one! Lemme know what you end up doing driver..

At 9200 Miles so far.. but this is the end of my fourth week which is VERY frustrating because I should have been done already. Celadon is a big company but it seems their freight slows down on the weekends which is crazy, I'm just ready to get my own truck & companies that hire with 3 months experience (JB Hunt .. Schneider) are looking very enticing right now. Even though most starter companies are the same .. I would rather drive for one who seems to give a shxt about their drivers license because Celadon doesnt dispatching a team truck on 200-300 mile runs?! I have to keep telling myself it gets greater later.. UGH

Well.. the frustration and impatience is gone (for the moment) BUT I ended up with 10,301 miles in 4 weeks and 1 day.. Tested out this morning w/ 2 other guys who were going lease purchase. Test truck was a 10 speed, floated gears up & down with no problems at all.. finished up "graduation" which is just the process of getting your truck, getting signed off from safety/customs/getting EZ Pass for your windshield.. NOW I have to go to NC to get my truck which is a 2015 Peterbilt tomorrow so that should be fun on the Greyhound right -__-
So my first load will be out of NC I'm assuming.. then back to Indy for a few days off.. -
Congrats Pacertrucka. I will be in Indy in April 2015.

One question Pacertrucka, are students in Indy able to test for all CDL Endorsements? thx.
-
Thanks S.W. Sweet.. and yes you can.. they have employees from the BMV that come to the school to administer tests.
-
thx Pacertrucka. Enjoy the dog bus ride to NC. Lol.
