I will post my experience here. As of now I have a 17 hour Greyhound bus ride leaving sat day at noon, and arriving sunday at 5 a.m, so i will have some time to check out the school i guess.
I have a few questions. If they put you in a hotel due to the dorms being full, will you have a roommate? Also im on a low carb diet, do there free meals have options for me,or will i be stuck eating pizza, and french fries etc.
Also If I stay in a hotel, what is the name of it. Thanks.

I think there is a Celadon forum on here. You should post a thread there or ask a moderator to move this one. You will get more responses that way.

Could anyone also tell me if there are any shopping areas near the school within walking distance. Such as dollar stores, wallmart etc. Thanks for any replies.

    1. Yes, you will have a roommate.
    2. You can get salads and alternative sides as well as bottled water, but don't wait around and go late because the salads tend to go pretty quick.
    3. The hotel is the Quality Inn in Greenfield, IN. It is not really a bad place at all from what I here, but I never stayed out there.

There is a shopping center a few blocks down the street with a plasma center, a closed branch bank with a working atm, and a Family Dollar in it. Sometimes, one of the shuttle drivers will stop at Walmart, but you will have to ask him face to face. Ask any other employee, and they will tell you the shuttle doesn't do personal trips. One of the best ways to get around is to find someone who drove in and offer to give them some gas money or buy them a pack of smokes.

Also, bring dollar bills for your laundry, as the machines will only take a laundry card they give you, and the laundry card machine will only take dollar bills.

Dude sorry for the late update, but i forgot I made this thread lol. well its sat day I started here monday. Im in a nice hotel-the Quality Inn in Greenfield IN. Its 15 miles from the school. I have a room mate. We ride a shutle bus the hotel provides bus leaves at 6.30, and most of the time he has to come back because the bus gets full.
We get to school and stand in line for breakfast. but the hotel has a good breakfast here also. The food is nothing special here, but hey its free, so i guess thats why. There is extra food you can pay for.
Went to class and learned perment stuff from 8 to 5 on wensday the dmv came to the school and we did our tes on paper. I passed all 4, it includes the Indiana regular licence test. Then the next day went to the dmv and passed an optional tanker test, they sugest you get it. if you fail your test you go to the dmv every day and retest, after about 3 weeks if you still havent passed afteer that time you go home.
I took my physical on the third floor of the school monday. and now i should start on the yard wensday to show them my driving skills. I would have started this coming monday but im waiting on my perment due to my doc having to fax paper work.
Well thats about it. the school is pretty cool so far. Any questions ask.

Well its tuesday laying on my bed here at the hotel. should be getting my permit tomorrow :) then I can start outside doing the str8 back, off set back and parallel park. I have realized that there free meals suck. You basically get a school lunch type meal, or sandwich, or pizza,or salad, and its all basic. You also get a small drink free. If you want extra food you pay top dollar for it.
Weekends the bus takes you 15 miles to the school for lunch and dinner, but i have decided to stay in my room and buy my own food. Its just not worth the drive there and back for some crap food.
I went to Knight transport, and then KLLM trucking schools before I came here. KLLM sent me home because I take paxill at night. But KLLM pays you 500 dollars after you pass your physical and drug test. and pays you while your in school. Knight Transport I was there 3 days and got sent home because at that time I listed a medication called vistoril on my physical app, and that was no no, Knight was cool with paxil though. They also pay 500 the week after physical and 400 every week of traing after.
So I ended up here at Celadon who does not pay you for training, and have realized the best out there of the three is Knight. But I'm here, and making the best of it. Just wish i can go back in time and not list that medication at Knight :( Oh well will update in a few
