| OK OK OK OK just a little update...we r weeding out people here at celadon as Irunu has stated..BUT...let me tell u guys who we r weeding out and why...The drivers who are constantly wrecking the trucks, drivers with idle time over fleet average ( which normally runs about 35% to 45% ) and people who are late for del and p/u times..We are not weeding out any drivers that don't deserve it...Just last week a driver was fired and started ranting about how celadon had done him wrong..well guess what? that driver was caught with several beer bottles in his brand new trk...he had been drinking while he was in his trk..regardless of the fact if he was driving or not doesn't matter..he was a hazard to the public and to the company..Believe me when I tell you that Celadon is not just getting rid of people for no reason at all..As a matter of fact, they let go of more than 30 office people, not because they had done wrong ( i hope) but because they needed to cut some costs and with freight starting to pick up somewhat they want to keep as many good drivers as they can.. Thanks...
