Yes we put new mattresses in the trucks if I recall right!

Yes they are cleaned before another driver gets the truck.

Tell hubby to quit messing with your money

Have a great night and day tomorrow!

I am sure I will have a busy day as usual on Fridays!
I asked him about those logs. I think you said the 28th through current? I did fax you those other two that I have here at home from the 12th and the 15th. He's got the others, and he said that he had scanned them recently so maybe they just haven't hit the system yet. If not, I'll get them when he gets home on the 25th and fax them to you.

He's got his load assignment, and heading out, so he'll have some driving to do this weekend. Which means miles for the paycheck. Yea!!

He'll go all over. My hubby has been to the east coast, southern states, and as far as Texas. He hasn't been any farther yet than that. He's finally got a load heading to Iowa today. Anyway, yes your hubby will be going all over the place, maybe even Canada if he's able to. Get to know the gal over in the logs department. She's great. Her name is the one listed in the big blue orientation manual for the logs department.

Well, hubby is off to Laredo again. Trailer drop for Thurs. Hopefully they will have a load out on Fri morning for him so he can get some miles over the weekend. Otherwise his check is only going to have about 1400 miles on it. Not good since that check has to pay the rent and leave him money to eat on. I'm worried about him getting stuck in Laredo sitting from Thurs night up through Mon morning. I hope he doesn't. He's got three scale tickets he hasn't been paid for yet, one from Feb and two from March. He's going to have to get in contact with payroll and do something about it. He's supposed to be home the 25th so he can call them then and take care of it I guess.

Had a bit of confusion on his load up to Iowa. Delivery was scheduled for 7 in the evening, was changed to 9 in the morning. He got there at ten minutes till 9, and was told that it wasn't scheduled to unload till 7 that night. So he went back to the truck stop up the road, called his DM, etc. Then a few minutes after he'd pulled in to the truck stop, a guy came up to his truck and asked him if he was the one making the delivery to this place and said they had been waiting on him on the other side of the building next to the one he stopped at. The people on the loading dock there had no clue that he WAS supposed to be there early and they were waiting for him. DUH. So he went back down there, got unloaded, went back to the truck stop up the road. And sat. All day. No reload. Waited all day and finally around 9 that evening the night DM sends him a load assignment. So he's got to get going at 2 in the morning to get to his PU on time. Gets there at 8 and is told that he won't be loaded till 2 in the afternoon. UGH!! Could have stayed in bed longer. His load time was between 8 am and 2 pm. So now he's already driven five hours to get there, could have gotten up later and been there later and not lost so much of his 14 hours waiting all day. Oh well. He's headed off now to Laredo. Where it's warm. I told him to come home and take care of the boy and I'd go OTR so I can go where it's warm. LOL!!! I haven't been warm since last August. I imagine I'll thaw out sometime in late May early June. And I'm sure he'll tell me how he's got to turn on his A/C while he's down there.

i talked to the recruiter at celedon about that and she assured me that celedon was not going to go down to 62...it's an unsafe speed not to mention there's no fuel savings in that speed range...so.......i hope i'm being played by the recruiter...

Copperas Cove, Texas. I know someone who lives there. She moved down there in the summer of 06, and opened a western wear and saddle store. If she kept the same store name as it was up here, it's Rowes Western Store.

My husband's truck only goes about 63 mph. Most of the trucks are governed at 62 to 64. If your idle time and fuel usage are good, meaning low idle time and great fuel mileage, they will turn your truck up to 65 or 66. Whoopie. So plan your trips at an average time verses mileage of 50 mph, or 500 miles a day. That way you leave plenty of time for all the little things that can go wrong like weather, traffic jams, accidents, etc. Hubby's average speed verses mileage per day on his log book is around 54 to 57 mph.

Good luck at orientation.
