Arkansas trucking company sold for $24 million

LITTLE ROCK - Indianapolis-based Celadon Group Inc. announced Thursday its purchase of Little Rock-based trucking company Continental Express Inc.

Celadon said in a statement it paid about $24 million for "the truckload, intermodal and brokerage business, as well as approximately 400 tractors and 1,100 trailers of Continental Express Inc."

Continental reported it generated about $92 million in gross revenue in 2007.
