Ok, in response to my previous post i would have to change my mind in regards to the VXI Blue Parrott XPressway II. I've found that it doesn't seem to be a very good bluetooth for Truck Drivers. It has a bit of static issue and doesn't seem to cancel out much noise. I purchased this unit yesterday and was really disappointed in it's performance. The price was $119 and pretty close to $130 when you include the tax. I took it back the same day and purchased the Blue Parrott B250-XT Plus which was the same price. The B250-XT Plus is an ungraded version of the B250-XT. They almost look identical except for the fact that the B250-XT Plus is black in color and the older version is blue. What i like about the upgraded version(the black one) is that it actually plays music from your cell phone through the headset. My old headset couldn't do this. It also has multiport pairing which allows me to be paired with my cell phone as well as my GPS unit at the same time. It has 20 hours of talk time on a full charge compared to 16 from the older version. It also has voice prompts that warn you when the bluetooth battery gets low as well as when you are out of range.

I purchased mine from a Truck Stop i was at but after looking online it seems that Best Buy has them for about $80 right now. Below is a link to a youtube audio video i found of a driver testing the B250-XT Plus headset out by driving with his windows down while using the headset. The other link just explains the product features from the manufacturers website.

I got mine on amazon.com. it is quite a bit cheaper than the truck stops. I have the Blue Parrot B-250XT (link below) and I swear by it. It holds a charge for a LONG time, has great noise canceling and is comfortable. I believe in the truck stops they are right around the $100 mark. At amazon they are $65. worth taking a look at

Cobra Dane is on the money. Amazon is the best source, and the Blue Parrott B250-XT+ has given me great service. Lots of compliments from people on the other end of the line.

+1 on the Blue Parrott BT250XT+. Got one for Christmas, when they were around $70 from Amazon. I tried the "roll down the windows at 60" trick. The person on the other end said that there was a bit of background noise, but nothing objectionable. I have a friend who uses the non-plus model on his motorcycle...

I have one. It sucks!! It does cancel noise just fine but the other person sounds like they are talking to me from the other end of a Pringles can. And it hates my Note 3. It took 5 tries to get it to pair the 1st time, then if you don't bring it with the phone when you leave the truck you have to remember to shut it off because it doesn't always reconnect automatically. Last month I had to unpair, reboot phone and try a half dozen times to re-pair it before it would connect...it's the last Blue Parrot I will ever own! I had a Jabra Supreme that worked great. Always felt loose on my ear (it was an over the ear hook instead of over the head) but it was always clear, cancelled noise well, and had some weird technology that allowed you to have it on your ear but still hear out of that ear fine (like expecting a call), but when you dialed or the phone rang, it was as if someone covered that ear so you could hear the caller...it also would sync your contact list so when the phone rang, it would announce who was calling. The xpress-way 2 just gives you a beeping tone. Jabra also let me do voice commands on my phone (dialing, audio stream pause/play etc)and if I needed to, it would allow voice texting and/or dictation in an email (all when I was parked of course)... The only thing I didn't like about it was the talk time was about 1/2 that of the Blue Parrot. I was charging it 3 or 4 times a week (the company I work for uses mostly cell phone, they have q/comm but it's there for show or for when the government forces e-loging) I am not sure how many devices it would pair with, but it remembered being paired to my old phone after I upgraded to my Note...after pairing it with my new phone, I turned on the old phone to sync my contact list...it connected to both. My son had a Jabra that he had paired to both his personal phone and his work phone at the same time... so if either one would ring, he could answer...but it just got confused when he had it connected to both and tried to voice command something...it sometimes picked the wrong phone. But IMHO Jabra, hands down is a far superior headset

More than likely it was refurbished. I have had 3 that I had to return. And what they have done all three times was sent me a refurbished one the last one was only 3 months old. So I imagine I could be wrong but more than likely what you got was a refurbished unit.
