Getting Internet While OTR
How do you get internet while OTR?
Do you use your smartphones internet mostly?
What about internet for a laptop?
Mobile carrier vs wifi at a truck stop?
Just looking for thoughts and suggestions for when I get out there.
Ideally, Id like unlimited internet for phone and laptop so I can get music & movies.
Thanks

AT&T MiFi. Only use AT&T because that's who my phones are with. Verizon has it as well.

I have both a broadband card for the laptop, and the internet capable phone, but no hotspot running on the phone.
I always print oversize permits through a usb cable from the laptop, more dependable. I can check n read e-mail on the phone, research the weather, etc.

Droid with Verizon, tethered to my laptop for most of my internet use. Other times just the phone.

to colorato, scott, & tlg, what kind of bandwidth limits do you have? could you use a service like netflix or any other movie rental service to watch movies and tv shows without going over your limit?
axe, same as above and does the tethering allow you to freely download/surf the web or is it essentially a larger monitor for the mobile browser?
