Looking for information about apps that are Truck Driver friendly. We have a mix of I phone users and Android users. Thanks!

    MyDAT Trucker Services

    Summary from their website...

MyDAT Trucker Services is a free app for truck drivers showing nearby truck stops, travel plazas, diesel prices, truck-friendly hotels and services, Walmarts, rest stops and CAT Scales – as well as loads from the DAT Extended Network – also seen on monitors in over 800 truck stops nationwide. The DAT Extended Network displays a subset of the millions of loads found annually on DAT Load Boards including TruckersEdge.

The Company has to register for it.

Even if they have Transflo Truck Stop Scanning they may or may not be registered for the mobile app.

MyDAT tends to have issues (for me at least) especially with the map feature. I say shell out the ten bucks for Truck Stops Pro. Everythimg MyDAT has but a better user interface and more robust build.

Get the truck stop book that tells u where each one is. Cheaper to buy and dont need internet connectivity.

using a book to find truckstops. 5 minutes. you need to know where your at and where your going. and how to get there.

using an app to find truckstops. 5 seconds. don't need to know where your at. and it'll guide you there.

for most books in life you buy. there's usually an app for that. for free. and unlike a book. apps don't get worn out and fall apart.

and some of them truckstops. aren't exactly easy to drive to.
