i logged into my account to pay the bill. and this is the message i got.

"Your current plan is no longer available. To change to a new plan, please choose options below and click "Continue" or click "Cancel" to return to the home page without changing your plan. Once you change to a new plan you will not be able to go back to your old plan".

i like that. ONCE I CHANGE TO NEW PLAN, I CAN NOT GO BACK TO OLD PLAN.

    hmmmmm.

my new plan has me sitting at 2 gigs. DOWN from the 8 gigs i had at last payment. i've used up 4.5 gigs with 12 days left for the billing cycle. guess i'll be paying a hefty premium for this months bill.

$90 unlimited talk, text, 8 gigs (now it's 2 gigs). plus $40 for one line.

darn good thing i've reactivated my unlimited crappy sprint service since that's what i've been using lately.

It is easy to add data to your plan and not expensive..they just doubled the data i used to get for the same price i was paying before.

i looked at the bill, and edited my post.

there's no doubleing of data. i get 1/4 of what i used to get. according to last month and this month bill. my bill still says $130. with less data.

i'm not doing anything with it though, i'll wait till the next bill and see what it says.

Go into your my verizon account and look at the data pricing..you will need to select the new data level you want and that is where you will find the new pricing that doubles the data.
If you continue to have problems just call verizon and explain it to them and they will set it for you..

I now get 30 gig for what i used to pay for 14..

Dang...how in the world do you rack up that much data use when you spend most of the day driving? My wife says I'm "always" on my phone, but I've never even used HALF of the 3 gigs I pay for. With 2 weeks left to go in this billing cycle, I've used all of 1/4 gig. Don't understand the need for 20+ gig plans, since even 1 gig of data seems impossible to burn through...
